Family Group

Thanks to support from the
Robertson Trust and
Children in Need we were able to set up a Family Group in October 2008. It takes place in a local church hall and meets weekly over lunchtime Qualified play staff make the sessions fun for the parents and children attending.

The Family Group is an additional resource to our home visiting support and used for a variety of reasons to enhance our current work:

families who need a bit of extra, focussed support
families who are waiting to be matched to a home visiting volunteer
or indeed families who are on the way to leaving us and who don't require the formal weekly contact at home.
